June is finally here – and I’m hoping for the over-abundance of rain to end and warm weather to begin! All of which, has me wanting to get outside and take in the scenery.
I was very tempted to go with another de-clutter challenge for the month of June. Because it always seems that things can be sorted through, organized and minimized. At least in our home!
But – I’ve had a teeny-weeny, knee injury and need to get back to daily walks and runs. And, this is a great time of year to get outdoors and do some hiking, walking, and running. Yes, I know – hiking is walking. However, I’m using walking as in walks around town, or with my daughter, sister, and mother.
Sticking to any type of routine can be difficult – but it can be a lot easier and a lot more fun when you have the support of friends.

June 2019 Monthly Challenge
This month, we’re moving!
Each day in June, we’ll focus on getting up and stepping out! Well, you know what I mean.
It’s suggested that everyone should aim for 10,000 steps per day. That really depends on your unique health needs and concerns – and current level of movement. Remember to always speak with your physician before starting any new exercise regiment!
For me: 10,000+ steps per day is very doable and my body is used to it.
You should spend the first day of the challenge seeing how many steps you typically take in a day – and then try increasing that day-by-day in a manner and increment that is comfortable for you.

I can’t wait to see how many steps you’ve accumulated by the end of June!
